We're working on it. Don't know what the problem is yet.
You might want to mention it to Steve as your input might be helpful.

I need full headers from someone so I can see. According to my mail
config big apple is not blocked and instead is specifically allowed. In
addition, the above error gives a non existant machine (cotse.net) as
giving that response. Our correct MX would be mailhost.cotse.com.

Sounds to me like that's the problem, user error. I won't worry about it then.
Thanks.

I'm probably the user which bigapple admin was addressing.
For some time now if, for example, I make a remailer-key request to
apple2/bigapple using my cotse account, the reply from bigapple never makes
it to me. There's nothing I can add except that this has been this way for
some time.

Additionally, I never receive mail from george, hastio, italy nor starwars.

I'd suggest you get an account at Gmail or Yahoo and make your remailer-*
requests from there. Otherwise, I don't know what the problem is.

Check your filters (filtering is all user controlled), because of the
breadth of filtering options we offer our most common issue is a user
filtering mail they want to receive. Don't configure any of your mail
filters to autodelete or reject email, have it sent to trash if you are
not getting mail you expect to get and check your trash for the wanted
mail.

Thanks, I am adept at using your service and I'm fairly certain this is not
the problem. I'll double check, though.

Well, if it is not that then I am still interested in finding out what
the problem is. I'll need a bounce with complete headers to be able to
tell. With BigApple it seems as though it was trying to connect to a
non-existant machine (cotse.net). I wonder if this is the case with
others and if so where they are getting that machine when the MX records
are mailhost.cotse.com.

Ok, I have checked & double-checked and see absolutely nothing in my
filters which should result in mail from bigapple, george, hastio, italy
and starwars from being delivered to my *@cotse.net address. I wish I
could be of more help but I have nothing to show you - it's all in the void
somewhere.

Consider - george, italy and starwars are all Italian and may have the same
downstream provider. Hastio is Spanish so it might as well be Italian.
Bigapple is perhaps run by an Italian. Those are the best leads I can give
you!

If any other members of Cotse could test things and see if their result
confirm or conflict with mine, that would be good. Mail from all other
exit remailer make it to my Inbox just fine, and actually it's no big deal;
there are other avenues.

Thanks!

I will dig to find out if our mail server does not like Italians and if
that is true I will find out why. However, I cannot agree with the
"Hastio is Spanish so it might as well be Italian" line, I don't find
Italians and Spaniards to be that similar and I'm fairly certain they
don't either. The same upstream of the others could be a clue, if
hastio is left as an anomoly.

I need to find out what IP they are on when they connect to our SMTP
server. Also, the admins of those servers would probably have rejects.
I need one of those or it's really all guessing, if the server rejected
it for any reason it does so with a message. If you'd also mail
helpdesk, given your account name and some recent tests I may be able to
find out more.
