If you are like me, you sometimes find it hard to remember which
remailers to choose as last hop in order to get full 'from' headers,
and to do it without a disclaimer.
If that's your problem, you have come to the right place. All you
need to do is replace your usual mail2news gateways with this:
To: alias_Joe.Blow|somedomain.com_some.newsgroup@newsanon.ath.cx
This creates a nickname of Joe Blow and a domain of
Joe.Blow@somedomain.com, i.e., Joe Blow <Joe.Blow@somedomain.com>
Then you can use a chain of any remailers and let JBN or QS or
whatever you use choose the last remailer for you. It won't make any
difference what it is, you will still have a full 'from' header.
If you want to send to multiple newsgroups:
To:
alias_Joe.Blow|somedomain.com_some.newsgroup1..some.newsgroup2..
some.newsgroup3@newsanon.ath.cx
You can specify up to 5 newsgroups.
Make sure you do not have a 'Newsgroups' header, since you have
already specified the newsgroup - you are sending an email message,
not a newsgroup posting.
Keep in mind that this is not a true mail2news gateway - it doesn't
send the message to an nntp server. What it does do is to reformat
the 'from' header in your message so that it reads the way you
specified, and then send the message to several mail2news gateways.
