tried sending with:

Host: rjgcfnw4sd2jaqfu.onion
From: anon@panta-rhei.dyndns.org
Chain: panta,*,*,*; copies=3
To: user@address.com
Subject: subject

and got this in the Tor window after the send attempt failed:

Jun 02 18:45:08.150 [notice] rend_client_desc_here(): Closing
stream for 'rjgcfn
w4sd2jaqfu.onion': hidden service is unavailable (try again
later).

I then tried this, with Tor selected as the proxy

Host: panta-rhei.dyndns.org:2525
From: anon@panta-rhei.dyndns.org
Chain: panta,*,*,*; copies=3
To: user@address.com
Subject: subject

this one is successfully mailed using Tor as a proxy where the
other one is not.
is there a problem with the hidden service? or do I need to add
a port number to the hidden service address like so:

Host: rjgcfnw4sd2jaqfu.onion:2525
From: anon@panta-rhei.dyndns.org
Chain: panta,*,*,*; copies=3
To: user@address.com
Subject: subject

Try again, the TOR service here at Panta seems to die a sudden death
occasionally.
I have restarted it, and it works now.

I might crontab a restart,
Cheers,
