It is very clear to me. The poster does not appear to be
interested in any group in particular. Varied interspersed postings,
say 1 per month per group in several hundred of the very busiest
groups, which is what I am seeing, has the effect of causing a deluge
of negative references with all search engines. I would guess that
anyone interested in hiring this guy would google him to check him
out; I googled him and found 265 negative references for his exact
name from every group one can imagine.

It appears that spamming groups is not the final goal here,
and one post per group per month cannot possibly be considered spam or
could not possibly really bother anyone, the goal probably is to
destroy this low life attorney's business by warning anyone who checks
him out; posting to groups appears to be the most efficient vehicle to
create search engine presence to protect the public.

That's my take on it.
