Is this a permanent or temporary problem?

Kindest of Kind Sirs,
What act of magic did you conjure to be able to post a newsgroup message
using austria as your exit?

nothing special... though a bit more involved that the average user

to guarantee i have good stats based on my mailing situation, i have a
reliable remailer running. it's not open to the public, it exists almost
exclusively to provide me with stats to update JBN and QS from.

According to my stats, Austria is doing pretty good lately.

$remailer{"austria"} = <mixmaster@remailer.privacy.at> "cpunk mix pgp
pgponly repgp remix latent hash cut test ek ekx esub inflt50 rhop20 reord

also, cause i don't really have the bandwidth or cpu time for chain stats,
I get my broken chain info from panta-rhei

As for how austria was chosen? given the above stats and capstring, it
came up in a AUTO setting.

Thank you,

Nothing seems magical or inordinary with anything you do. Austria looks
good from my stats too no matter from where I get them. It's so very
strange that the *only* way I can use austria as exit for a Usenet post is
to specify bigapple as the "m2news" with its unusual format. I had always
attributed this to austria having "mail2news@*" or similar in its
blocklist, but your posts prove this not to be the case, as your post went
through the banana mail2news.
So this baffles me. For some many months I've never, *ever*, able to post
through a mail2news with austria or metacolo. Looks like you've done both
lately.

This will drive me nuts unless I can get to the bottom of it.

Cheers!
