Banana no longer posting
|
|
| A.Melon 2005-07-31, 5:47 pm |
| There was an announcement by Zax some months ago that bananasplit
remailer now posted directly to newsgroups when using a post
directive.
I was using this successfully for some time, but it no longer
works. Posts are now sent to another remailer before being posted
to a newsgroup. I can't find any announcement suggesting that the
policy had changed.

The policy hasn't changed so maybe something is broken. I'll check it
out and see what's going on.

I just sent a message
<2bea83410486113544ffc7614dde9fb7@anon.bananasplit.info>
to alt.testing.testing and it's been delivered fine. It's possible that
your messages are being filtered at some other point of the delivery
process. If you can do some tests to the same group, I'll try and
figure what happens to them.

I've sent a test to that group so I'll see which remailer it
ends up coming from. I'm sending this message in here with
banana as last hop, using direct post.

I'll bet the idiot with the 'Polymorphing DLL' has found a way to filter
encrypted messages on content. :-D
(PS - Hint for newbies, so no one gets weird over it - It's a joke)

I guess it works now. Not sure why it wasn't working before.
Weird.
