Eelbash Fastpost Service
|
|
|
| Send an email to remailer@eelbash.yi.org with
fastpost
as the subject, to get the file below.
This service has always been popular, and continues unchanged, except for
the address to which you send the email.
The Fastpost service allows someone to reply quickly to a newsgroup post,
without having his ip or email address show up in the post's headers.
There's no encryption, so it should only be used for casual anonymity.
If you send an email to some.newsgroup@fastpost.yi.org, it will end up in
the newsgroup some.newsgroup, but with your ip and other identifying
information removed.
Doing this uses whatever 'from' header your mail/news client is using, but
here are various options to change the 'from' header to your liking, as
well as do other things. They are:
alias_xxx_some.newsgroup@fastpost.yi.org
this uses a random nickname and domain for the 'from' header.
alias_123_some.newsgroup@fastpost.yi.org
this uses a nickname associated with the number 123. The domain
is random. You can use numbers up to about 200.
alias_Joe.Blow|somedomain.com_some.newsgroup@fastpost.yi.org
this creates a nickname of Joe Blow and a domain of
Joe.Blow@somedomain.com.
[Note that this lets you choose any remailer as last-hop, and always have
full 'From' headers. Very handy if you can't remember which remailers
allow the full 'From' headers].
alias_xxx_newsgroup1..newsgroup2..newsgrooup@fastpost.yi.org
this sends the message to three newsgroups. You can use up to 5.

Thanks for offering the good service.

Odd... My test message came through twice, six days apart, with different
message IDs.
old: BE56XV3H38567.7509259259@si93kru1.poster
new: DZAZCF9I38573.6931134259@si93kru1.poster
It was sent to eelbash once, *not remailed* (just sent from an smtp
account), one copy.
What was it doing hanging around on eelbash? I don't like that. Eelbash
Admin might have been fondling it for six days. Ew.

I've been keeping copies of messages using the remailer as last-hop until
everything looks like it's running well.
The message got sent again by accident when I was trying to send the ones
that didn't make it the first time because only fastpost.yi.org was
working, but now newsanon.yi.org will do the job as well.
Messages are no longer being kept around.
I never laid a finger on your message.

And there it is....
"I've been keeping copies of messages using the remailer as last-hop until
everything looks like it's running well." - Eelbash
He opens the remailer *again* on Sat, 30 Jul 2005 at 11:44 AM CST, and then
10 days later on Tue, 09 Aug 2005, he demonstrates *ONCE AGAIN* that he
just doesn't understand the basic principles behind running a remailer.
The funny thing is, the stupid bastard will not understand what is wrong,
and will make a pathetic, flailing attempt to defend his actions *this
time*.

No, that is a service operated by a net-abuser. Eelbash (the owner,
operator, administrator of that service) is a net-abuser.
He constantly changes the name of his remailer. See:
A chronological history of Eelbash:
<http://www.bananasplit.info/usenet/eelbash/index.html>
He replaced words he didn't like in messages leaving his remailer
with stamps such as "[HATE SPEECH]", "[NICHEVO]", "[CENSORED]", etc.
See:
as_usubject=&as_uauthors=&lr=&as_drrb=q&as_qdr=&as_mind=1&as_minm=1&as_miny=1981&as_maxd=10&as_maxm=8&as_maxy=2005&safe=off>
<http://tinyurl.com/96nyb>
That proves he has no interest for the remailer-network (other than
to disrupt it, especially with his constant going up/down and
changing names). That confuses people (especially newbies) and
confusion is one of the greatest "weapons", IMHO.
Additionally, he also nym-shifts (changes names/identities) to cheer
and support himself. See for instance:

Would you please reconfigure your X-Newsreader: Forte Agent 3.0/32.763
to use
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
instead of
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=Big5
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
That you have configured currently, the non-standard 8bit characters
are really not welcome in usenet. Besides which, they make your post a
pain to deal with.
thanks

So what is your policy when the TLA arrive to trace the origin of a
message send through your excuse for a remailer? "No sir, I don't keep
logs", "Sorry", "Oh wait, I have this batch of messages that were send
through my remailer, I can decrypt them all for you and find the one
that matches your message from my excuse for a remailer", "and hand you
the original message that arrived at my excuse for a remailer"...
Always strip headers
Never keep logs
now?

He's demonstrated hundreds of times before that he thinks censoring,
reading content, and saving of mails that pass through his remailer is
perfectly fine. It's best to just bar his remailer from your client
completely.
