Hi all !
I have integrated M. Schierl's fix for the problem with non-english Windows
systems into the Panta JBN mod.
If interested parties could please download and test the BETA release and
provide some feedback here.

| After I set up your mod plugin I closed JBN and when I reopen I get:
"Configuration check- the following problems were enconuntered with
your configuration: Invalid Stats|Temporary Cache Folder: \Stats\Cache
No templates found in Retrieval Config|Reply Templates Folder"
so I must uninstall your MOD and wait your help :-)

p.s. I did follow exactly your instruction:
"HOWTO for Install and Mod update:
1) It is assumed you have a working installation of JBN.
Make a Backup of your whole JBN2 folder.
2) Extract contents of the archive to the JBN folder
If you already had a Panta Mod installed you will be prompted to
overwrite files. Answer "Yes"
3) Run setup.bat in your JBN folder
4) Start JBN, configure the Mod in Windows|Panta Mod Config, and
enjoy!

I uninstalled your mod, then I open again JBN:
Error: Unable to create or access directory \Stats\Cache
so now I am stuck! I cannot use JBN anymore :-(
I reinstalled all again: same Error: Unable to create or access
directory \Stats\Cache !!!
Please help me!
p.s. I checked and obviously C:\JBN2\Stats|Cache do exist!

again and installed your mod, same result:

Now I reinstall a Schierl fix again and wait for your beta improving

Not sure what happened, maybe your config got messed up.
Could you install the mod again and then check:
>Stats|Temporary Cache Folder: \Stats\Cache
Open Window | Stats Config and enter the whole path to your stats folder in
the box, i.e. c:\jbn2\stats\cache
>Retrieval Config|Reply Templates Folder
Open Window | Retrieval config and enter the whole path to your books
folder in the reply template box, i.e. c:\jbn2\books and c:\jbn2\mail for
the mail folder.
About the TOR download. In the early days of TOR you had to download
several packages from different sites, so I provided an archive with all of
them. TOR has since evolved nicely, and you can just get their windows
installer which is up to date. I have removed the packages from my site, as
they were outdated.
I hope this works,

Ah, I found the bug. Apparently M. Schierl did some folder magic in his
mod, I dont really understand why.
I forgot to remove a few lines of it which in turn messed up your folders.
There is a new version of the Beta in the download section, where I have
rectified this issue. Please test it and let me know if there are still
issues. https://www.panta-rhei.dyndns.org/downloads/
I also found that if your mail and book folders are subfolders of your JBN2
folder you can just use "mail", "books", and "stats\cache" in there without
a full path and without preceding backslash. This might make it easier to
move your JBN2 folder one day.
In any case, I would strongly advise you to put your whole JBN installation
into a crypted disk, just use PGPdisk or Truecrypt.
Create a container, mount it as a drive, install the original JBN2 in there
(so the registry paths are set correctly) and then copy your JBN folder
over the one in the crypted drive, then reinstall the Panta Mod. This will
keep your books/nyms and mail safe.
