Notice: rbtor going down for a little while

I am going to have to take the remailer down for a little while (I hope).
Seems as when I operted a Tor node, someone had used my exit node to tick
someone off. When I bring the Tor node back up, it will be middle only.
Apparently someone was testing a Socks proxy to some group somewhere and
someone reported my IP as being a troublemaker. Hell, I don't even know
what that is. I had more than my share of headaches getting Mercury
running.
You can see the report at:
http://dsbl.org/listing?24.131.26.175
I have been trying to get a new Dynamic IP address but without success.
So, I'll try to get around it another way. I bought a new Linksys Cable
gateway today. It has the cable modem, router, and wireless built in. The
model is a WCG200 for anyone interested. I am hoping a new MAC address will
give me a different IP to get around this blacklisting BS.
I'll be going down at 9:00 PM EST time. Hopefully this won't be too painful
a task.
Regards all and thanks for your support getting this thing going,

Many remailers get listed in blacklists, it shouldn't affect your
operation except for the odd silly final-recipient that uses the
blacklist.
Most blacklists are evil.

Agreed, but I can't chain to a couple of other remailers because they are
using a blacklist. That means a message won't get through. That is my
biggest concern. We have some responsibility to do our best for people and
provide some reliability. Right now, that is my main concern.
I also can't seem to post through Dizum. I keep getting bounce messages:
The attached message has failed delivery and has been referred
to you as postmaster. The following error report or reports
were given to explain the problem:
*** mail2news@dizum.com
Error connecting to primary server '194.109.206.210'.
I think that may be an indication of blacklist use. Others like:
these are from 3 other remailers:

So, I have little choice if I want to run a dependable remailer. I hate
Blacklists! I hate getting on them because I voluntarily shared a lot of my
bandwidth to Tor users. Like Why Me?

Care to share who the three re-mailers are? That's not right. Could explain
some of my problems.

So what you just said is that 3 odd silly final-recipients are re-mailer
operators.
Why on God's earth would a remop use a blacklist?
Remops using blacklists should publish that here in APAS so we can avoid
you. Shit, the mail must go through. I don't want to use a re-mailer that
is black listing. A message I send might not get through. That stinks!

For the same stupid reason you decided to post this 3 times I
guess.
