I'm happy to see that anonymous has published his script and hope
that someone will soon copy it to an accessible web site; I'll be
glad to put it on mine when I have a copy of it.

In the meantime, I added a routine to randomly select the m2n
gateway list in a remailer message.

There is one problem I know of with the script: somehow it is
truncating one of the references. The truncation doesn't show up on
the message that is sent to mixmaster for remailing, but does show
up in the message when it gets to the newsgroup. It doesn't seem to
affect the proper placement of the message within the thread.

It could be an artifact of the way my editor works, since the
truncation seems to take place in the position where wrapping
starts.

Will someone give it a try on his system, and see if the same
truncation occurs in the references for your message when it gets
to a newsgroup?

The scripts are at:

In addition, I put up another script which provides a few prompts.
I find it very useful for quick posts, especially testing.
It lets you choose a 'from' header or no from header, thus taking
the exit remailer's default.
It prompts you for the chain and the number of copies.
