Author Attachments in Quicksilver?

As far as I know remailers do not take attachments, which I actually
think is a good practise and for the own network survival I think it is
necessary.

But I have been reading through Quicksilver's manual and it talks about
attachments, I have also noticed that when composing messages
to groups Quicksilver has a button to attach files.

So can someone clarify if it is possible to use the remailers for
attachments? And if it is then what is the maxium size acceptable?

It's possible, but each remailer has their own size limit.
Generally though it's not a good idea.

Plus most remailers don't allow binaries. And they don't advertise this :-(

If you find an exit that allows binaries (and a news server that does
propagate it to you ;-) ). You can use it over and over again until its
config changes in a way that doesn't allow binaries.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry, work does not permit me much time to participate in most
discussions.

But let me address this issue. First assume that all of the traffic in or
out of a re-mailer is monitored. All re-mailers are locatead in countries
that "share" intelligence. Look what happened to Thrasher. Reece said he
would be back after a few weeks. Reece is still not back after 6 months.
Makes you wonder doesn't it? And why you would call me the most paranoid
re-mailer operator you ever met, I am <BG>

I have no way and do not block any binaries (to the best of my knowledge).
My KLEN is 1,000. My goal is 100% reliability that a message will get
through.

Will someone be willing to try my re-mailer and tell me if I am wrong? Will
I pass a binary attachment?

But, think about it. Assuming all re-mailers are being watched, a message
that is large "because of the attachment" is easy to trace back to the
original sender. Any CPs or others are already "had" if they tried to use
the attachment of a binary.

Being lost in the crowd and using mixmaster is the best way to go. A
standard 28k message is lost in the crowd. Sending a 1 meg message through
re-mailers is the best way to partition yourself. You now become "dead
meat".

I am not an expert. I just operate a re-mailer because I believe in free
speech (and the right to own guns

I trust you my friend to tell me if I am in error. Oh yeah, I don't have
any F#NG time to even think about reading posts or E-mail. Public or not.
I don't give a shit. (see what happens to an operator after a year?, you
get nasty

My warmest regards to a dear friend,
