Panta: Anyone use Panta nym account?

| greets ppl,
I've tried setting up a nym account at panta. When I get the list
(list@@nym.panta-rhei.eu.org) I see that my chosen nym ID is there,
although I never did receive any kind of confirmation email, so I assume
the account is created and existing.
Anyone using a panta nym account? Do you find it reliable? I sent 2
messages to my account and never received either of them.

Usually panta is reliable. As with other remailers, occasionally it goes
down for awhile. Right now panta is down, and in most cases related
services (nymserver, mail2news etc.) will be down as well as the remailer.
When panta comes back up it's very good about processing anything that has
built-up during downtime.
It's good to keep tabs on current conditions so you're not left wondering.

| Hod is working. Had problems with panta for several days now.

| So panta is entirely windows based - right?.. mercury/reliable etc -
right?.. So there must be a nym-server and m2n package for windows
machines then too - no?.. I thought the only practical ones "out there"
were linux based... I'd really like to see them in the panta D/L area in
the next few days as I get things up and running again (by the end of the
month I suspect)... any chance of that happening?

Panta remailer (Reliable/Mercury) runs in a Windows VM on a Linux install.
Pantanym server is on a Linux install.
(maybe this is some code like Komite, uses GPG)

| What's happening with the antani nym server?
The page at https://remailer.firenze.linux.it/nym.html
translates (via http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr) to
Nym a serveur allows to create an anonymous address of mail, from which
sending and receiving mail, just like a normal address. This allows to
exceed the serious disadvantage of the remailer anonymous, than they do
not allow to receive answer without to at least compromise the anonymity
of the sender with the adressee. The FLUG is realizing nym a serveur type
2 newnym) that verra' put online as soon as completed. In the meantime who
wanted to inquire itself, puo' to consult this optimal documentation.
To the best of my ablilities at reading babblefish english :-) that says
there's a winston smith nym server in the works.. or is this one of the
others thats already online under another name?

If you never received a confirmation email, then your account is NOT set up
correctly; your Reply Block(s) are XXXXed.
This is nothing to do with any panta-nym problems currently being reported.

Wrong. The service was disrupted and is now back again. I just
received a bunch of confirmation messages from panta in reply to my
configuration requests of the last days.
