Which Remailers Allow Full "From" Headers?
|
|

| Eelbash tries again to keep people busy with his nonsense discussions and his desperate tries to advertise his honeypot remailer and honeypot m2n gateway.
Just refer to
http://pinger.bananasplit.info/from.html
and you know which remailer accepts mail with full or partial from headers. Those who like to check whether the same applies to news posting can just send a test post to alt.test
and you Eelbash can now shut-up

There's also Frell's posting stats page which includes post header
reports:-
http://echolot.theremailer.net/sideview/from.html
There is a minor bug in this somewhere as it reports all remailers as
having a top disclaimer. Bottom disclaimers it appears to report
correctly.
Unfortunately Dingo isn't on the list as only exit-nodes are shown.

I'm the op. I do a little newsgroup trolling as a hobby and customized "From" headers are sometimes part of the art. Remember that if someone jokes about you, then you will most likely fail to see the humor although many others will. The more hilarious
, the more aggrieved until it can be accepted all for fun. If you therefore get some abuse complaints because of me then you might include this response.
Sorry if some of the words above are split - software issue..

I have no problem with humor. And my comment was not directed against a
specific person here in this NG or any harmless troll activities. I find it
just alarming and destroying the good intentions of remailers when I get
complaints from people who have received death threads or similiar things
through my remailer. This has nothing to do with freedom of speech or privacy
protection. This is just illegal abuse of remailers which are needed by
people who have for example real problems to express their opinion because
they live in CTYs with surpressing governments. If I see based on the
complaints that there is a continues higher percentage of this type of
abuse, I will just quit the full from header service.
