would appeciate some help with Omnimix.

When starting the program (v 0.98) I get 'This program has
performed an illegal operation and will be hanged, drawn, and
quartered at dawn' or some such. It does not, however, get shut
down. Instead, it just sits there until I press the reset
button. A controlled shutdown won't even get rid of it.

The web page doesn't go much into system requirements - just a
list of other programs you may or may not need (all of which
I've d/l'ed)

It also doesn't help that the error messages that appear in the
log window are in german.

The author was able to put together an entire website in
english. Is it really that much trouble to include a few lines
of english in the program?

I use it with XP up to SP2 and see no reason for problems with W2k.
I'm not aware of any incompatibilities, but would be interested in
mentioning them in the manual, if there were some.

Would it be asking too much to tell us the messages displayed in the
log list? Maybe they're the key to a solution of your problem.

The program is completely written in English, but built with a German
compiler version, which gives you the German system related error
messages. I'm sorry, but I don't have an English compiler at hand.
