I'm unable to find an explanation for abbreviations like 'MCNn' or
'CNp' within http://pinger.bananasplit.info/type2.list. Who can help?

C = accepts compressed messages.
M = will forward messages to another mix when used as final hop.
Nm = supports posting to Usenet through a mail-to-news gateway.
Np = supports direct posting to Usenet.

Ciao!
