If they seized twistys computer and thrasher's computer, does that mean
they do not already have the keys to those remailers or that the
government run remailers could not trace the message through the chain
back to the sender?

But they did not seize the George Orwell remailer, even though they were
able to catch the person that sent the bomb threat, so does that mean that
the George Orwell remailer is a government plant, or that they have his
keys or that enough government run remailers were in the chain so that
they could trace the message back to the sender?

It doesn't mean anything.

Why would you assume that this alleged person was allegedly caught due
to some flaw or compromise in the remailer network? There's a much
greater chance that the accused was suspect for some other reason, was
subsequently served with a warrant, and confessed or was confirmed as
the anonymous perpetrator in some other way.

That's assuming everything we read is factually true of course.

More mindless FUD from the Winston Smith puppets.

Anyone who uses a Winston Smith remailer is an idiot who deserves the
monitoring, tracing, tracking, and logging they do to mail touching thier
LAW ENFORCEMENT RUN subnet.

Kiddie bullshit. The poster is spot on and your remailer-trashing,
hypocritical, dingo-posting, worthless XXX knows it. Even out in the
real world people who send "anonymous" bomb threats are almost never
caught because the threat leads back to them. They're caught because
they have motives and vendettas, or they run their mouths to so called
friends. If you don't understand that already you need to have someone
chain hoist your fat XXX out from in front of the television. Maybe
permanently.

No, and I think that's the whole point. The poster was a remailer
trashing TROLL posting through remailers.

Yea every time someone crys to you, you cut the group off and will not post
to it anymore, I think you are a cop.

I have no special regard for Satan; but I can at least claim that I have no
prejudice against him. It may even be that I lean a little his way, on
account of his not having a fair show. All religions issue bibles against
him, and say the most injurious things about him, but we never hear his side.
We have none but evidence for the prosecution and yet we have rendered the
verdict. To my mind, this is irregular. It is un-English. It is un-American;
it is French. Without this precedent Dreyfus could not have been condemned.
As soon as I can get at the facts I will undertake his rehabilitation myself
if I can find an unpolitic publisher. It is a thing we ought to be willing to
do for anyone who is under a cloud. We may not pay him reverance, for that
would be indiscreet, but we can at least respect his talents. A person who
has for untold centuries maintained the imposing position of spiritual head
of four-fifths of the human race, and political head of the whole of it, must
be granted the possession of executive abilites of the loftiest order. In his
large presence the other popes and politicians shrink to midgets for the
microscope. I would like to see him. I would rather see him and shake him by
the tail than any member of the European concert.

Where to begin? First of all, Joe, top posting makes it difficult to
follow a thread, so is considered rude by many.

Second of all, that's not true. Some groups have been cut off for good
reason, and I have just never gotten around to re enabling them. No one has
asked me too re enable specific groups, either. Third, If I were a cop, why
would I cut off groups? I wouldn't be worried about my ISP or anything like
that if I was a cop. That's just stupid.

And of course, what are YOU doing to promote the free exchange of ideas?
Besides bitching and moaning about the individuals who ARE doing something
about it?
