This is a Type III anonymous message, sent to you by the Mixminion
server at mercurio.mixmaster.it. If you do not want to receive
anonymous messages, please contact mercurio-admin@mixmaster.it

Eelbash please share the code for the opt-in exit remailer. We believe that this is a viable alternative. Remops can make their choice between running a middle man, running a standard opt-out exit remailer or running a opt-in exit remailer.
We think all three kinds can exist beside each other.

Sincerely

Remailer Anti Abuse Association (RAAA)

The code is good only for my particular remailer configuration. It's not
difficult to write, however, for any operator with even entry-level
experience in coding, which is about my level.

It would be ideal if somebody familiar with Reliable could build it into
that.

I agree. It's a pity that remops have gone to middleman for email, even
though it is very understandable.

Making blocking email the default, while at the same time making it very
easy for the user to opt-in if he wants email, is probably the best public
relations setup an operator could ask for: he is engaging with the user
right at the start, with the first email that goes out, and showing the
user that the operator is not making him jump through hoops to avoid the
abuse that might come through emails.

It's a good way to make a remailer 'abuse-resistant'.

Translation:

There's something this proven snoop and censor doesn't want anyone to
see.

You should try holding your breath until that happens.
