Please don't flame this thread. I am asking for objective opinions and
comparisons about good proxy services. If you don't like Findnot.com,
prove it or go create your own thread about that.

I ended my Findnot subscription in this July due to multiple server
down occurrences. During major part of my subscription, however I did
have reasonable speeds and their technical support was responsive.

Kinda thinking about giving them another chance...
A couple of questions to those current Findnot.com customers...

1. Are you guys having good experience with Findnot.com lately? Are
speeds good? Do you find Findnot servers reliable these days?

2. Any better proxy service that offers faster speed that Findnot?
I use proxy service for a lot of web-browsing, and small but frequent
downloads. With Findnot, I had 70-80Kb/sec down. Any service that
offers better speed than that would be lovely!

3. Findnot.com's Google Checkout payment option
Who is this Google Checkout registrant? And how is it related to
Findnot.com?

"Order Details - GlobalPaySolutions, 305 396-3820, P.O. Box 134, Apache
Junction, AZ 85219 US"

I always think Findnot.com's marketing techniques entice suspicion at
best - so many phony-looking Findnot affiliated web sites floating
around. Findnot.com seems to be always having problem offering its
customers an easy and comfortable payment option.

Thanks!

I have never tried Findnot so I can't say anybody is better as I can't
compare with them, but I can say the service I have used for a few
months http:/www.steganos.com (VPN product) works at an excellent speed,
it lets you download 25GB a month and you can have one day trial for $2
or so. Notice that it only works with Windows.

The server is based in Germany, that may influence my speed as I am also
in Europe, right now the German Parliament is debating about passing a
law forcing all anonymity providers to retain logs for 6 months, this
law would also affect Tor proxy servers located there, I hope they won't
succeed at the moment all is on early stages and they just debating.

I wonder if is there any remop in Germany? If that is the case the law
would also affect them.

I believe Google Checkout is a 3rd payment party processor related to
Google.

Google Checkout is not much different from Paypal, just a payments
processing company that happens to belong to Google.
