OK, I've been doing some more testing and find that the www.safe-
mail.net site passes my originating IP with 100% consistency
despite Tor/Privoxy.

The privoxy activity indicator NEVER works. Other sites are
properly processed and anonymized as expected.

How is this site defeating Tor/Privoxy?

I see that the site encrypts traffic, but that shouldn't stop
Tor/Privoxy cold, should it?

I could see that maybe it secures the originating IP with
Javascript or something, but turning it off in the browser doesn't
change the outcome.
