Wget Eelbash problem and feedback

I recently requested two webpages that returned to me as attachment on
this format:

www.cnn.com

www.izito.com

I have changed the names of requested webpages from the real ones but they
also were .com webpages, the problem I have is that the webpages returned
did not come as an .html file they came as a .com file which makes them
impossible to open with the browser and because of the extension .com are
associated with the Windows DOS (cmd) program.

I would like to suggest another free service to request webpages, they are
not anonymous focused but they can be used in this way too
http://www.6url.com basically they provide the same service as Eelbash
services also for free they have been around for a few years already so
are out of the beta phase and as a plus do not require you to register
your email with them first before they send you webpages via email.

In fact I do not understand why this is needed, for privacy and spam
reasons I change my email often and having to register it with wget is
something I find pointless specially as I can use other services with the
same result quicker, if others do not require registration why you do
require it? How different is your service from theirs?

Not to mention a few concerns about the webpages I request being
associated with the email I use for that, even if you do not look at it,
your servers could get hack and the information stolen if you keep it.
IMHO the best privacy services are those where if you put a gun on the
operators head he won't be able to talk because not even himself knows who
is behind the requests/emails.

Just my 2 Eurocents as a user, nothing personal as I am fairly new in the
privacy pitch so I can't comment about past experiences/history of Eelbash
services.

PS: I just realised that you include the words: "Illegal use of this
utility is forbidden." at the end of the webpage request...I do not really
like the wording, "When you say Illegal use is forbidden" please specify
to what country law you are referring to, because even in Europe there are
things that are illegal in one country and are legal in others (i.e:
webapges containing violent sexual content are illegal in the UK but not
in any other country in Europe, neonazi webpages are illegal in Germany
but not elsewhere)

I do not want to use your wget service if it is forbidden to me so I will
not be using anymore your service if you do not drop or ammend it with the
country law you are talking about to judge if the request is illegal or
not, for all I know about the Eelbash remailer you may well be living in
Mars in which case I may have already use your service illegally as I
don't know the Mars laws. Maybe you could specify where your remailer
services are based.

Thanks for spotting this problem; I've changed the utility to append
'html' to the name of the attachment. My tests indicate that it can now be
opened or downloaded from an email account to the hard drive.

I'll have to look at that site to see what they do, but I do not see how
they can safely send web pages unless the requestor first registers.

If they send the pages to anybody, then malicious people can easily send
any number of requests using, as the 'from' address, the address of
someone they want to harass.

If you have a nym of some kind, you can register using that, and receive
the web pages there. I don't have to know anything about who you really
are, just that the email address is registered.

I'm easy to get along with; it's been changed to 'please use this service
responsibly'.

Please give it another try and let us know how it goes.

Don't open them!

This could be one of eelbash's little tricks to stalk and track users.
There's been many times in the past that Helen has rooted out users and
sending out spyware or viruses wouldn't surprise me at all.

Stay as far away from eelbash as possible if you value your privacy.
