Defeating Firewall

Is there any freenews provider that will allow connexions somewhere other
than
port 119?
I use the Opera browser at work and since this browser also has the
capability of
reading news integrated I would love to use it but the firewall blocks 119.
Thanks

o You could try tor.freehaven.net and see if one of the exits allows 119
o Try http://www.newzbot.com/
o or ask Steve to add your group to
http://www.bananasplit.info/news.html (port 563)
That is what I would try,
Thomas

news.readfreenews.net and allnews.readfreenews.net accept connections
on many ports, one being port 80.
