Hi all,

Unfortunately, I still have to work for a living

This is kind of hard to explain. Yesterday, I completed negotiations with a
good and long time customer to upgrade a lot of the equipment at one of
their numerous manufacturing facilitates. The facility is about 1,000+
miles SW of my home (in a state neighboring the Dingo re-mailer)

Engineering, assembly, testing, etc. with delivery to site are typically in
the 6 to 10 month time frame. I have a large staff that can quite easily
complete these projects.

But, until these equipment upgrades are completed, the facility must remain
in operation. At this time, production at the facility is far below what is
required (losing money).

In an unusual turn, as a condition of the contract, I will be at the
facility assisting in day to day operation until we can get production up
to a satisfactory level and the equipment upgrades ready for installation.
For me, it will be like turning the clock back 18 or 20 years and doing
what I used to do for a living.

The end result is the re-mailer will have to run on auto pilot. I will not
be available for extended periods to attend to it nor the infrequent but
sometimes justifiable complaints from people.

On June 4th, 2006, I will switch the re-mailer to middle. Hopefully it will
continue to operate unattended. However, if it does go down, it will stay
down for possibly long periods of time.

Please understand, this has absolutely nothing to do with the re-mailer
operating as an exit. No problems or anything else with the re-mailer have
spurred this change. It is simply because I must honor contractual
agreements. My business takes priorities over many things in my life.

When this is over, I intend to return the re-mailer back to exit status.

Regards All,
Twisty Creek Admin

Thanks for the very clear explanation of what you are
about to do. I suppose turning TwistCreek into middle
is a reasonable way of handling the situation. Your
remailer has always been very reliable etc. and it's
a pity to see it disappear from the list of trusted
exit remailers.

I, for one, would like to wish you well in your work
contract, and thank you for all the hard work you've
already put into TwistyCreek. Short of taking the
dedicated remailer computer with you and setting it
up at your new location as a continuing exit remailer,
going middle is the next best plan. :-)

Bummer, for us “Twisty” users. Hope to see your remailer back to exit
status soon.
May your contractual agreements fare well and pay handsomely,

Twisty Admin must have no friends or relatives at all. Frog-Admin never
seemed to run out of old ladies to help him ensure continuing remailer
availability even when he was away to Spain for a couple of months!

Hi Twisty,

Good luck with the new contract, if you perform your job with the same
dedication you show your remailer I'm sure it will be a huge success!

Look forward to seeing you back soon.

Well Jean, if that is your real name, at least Frog-Admin provided an
excellent service 24/7, even while he was away! There are not many
remailers anymore that provide that kind of service these days.

I long for the days of Frog-Admin. I really do..

You forgot the best part. He is a drain on society. He uses his little
mental illness to completely avoid any contributions to his society at all,
preferring instead to nurse from the socialist nipple. No responsibilities
(well, they may make him make his bed, I'm not sure).

Of course he hates America. In America, he would be treated, given a
prescription for meds, and sent out to make his own way in the world. He
would have to work for a living (*GASP*).

My brother is bi-polar. He was hospitalized in his twenties for a
manic-depressive episode, his first. He was treated, given a prescription,
and now owns his own house and land, is married, and is living the American
Dream, more or less. None of this "Boo-hoo! Boo-hoo! I'm all mental so all
I can do is cash checks and play video games and XXXXX endlessly about my
betters."

I have nothing but contempt for Boschloo, because he is *weak*, a poseur,
and a socialist.

Twisty could you tell me what middle vs. exit remailer means and what impact that will have on people that are using your service?

For your messages it will have none at all. Being middle just means that
the software enforces that messages can only go to another remailer. Not
to a newsgroup or a non-remailing e-mail address. Thus Twisty Admin (I
won't use his real name here, but we do correspond irregulary) doesn't
have to deal with abuse since nothing will exit from his IP and what
does exit will be anonymized.

You don't have to worry about losing mail unless some remailer gets new
keys and Twisty tries to randhop to it. If somehow you use Twisty as an
exit it will be reencrypted through a randomly selected remailer from
the config stored in the Twisty Remailer.

This config will not change however when Twisty Admin is away. And you
can (given the history in APA-S) expect people trying to flood and bring
down the Twisty remailer. If there is one rule here it is that remailers
will be abused no matter what.

I hope Twisty makes it well into next fall. May Twisty Creek look pretty
by then.

Don't go the way of Mike Shinn's remailer, promise?

Good luck,
Thomas

Ah, my first episode. Sweet memories :-) To bad about university though.
Could have been a hell of a programmer by now. Coding computer games for
a living. Doing some TOR and Mixminion in my spare time. Big house, car,
motorbike, wife, all those things I wanted back then.

Anyways, it is not up to you to decide if I am disabled or not. Got
tested March 21st this year and they decided I can stay disabled. Under
this administration that is. Maybe one day we will be more civilized
like in your country.

Who cares what you think? You are obviously a mean-spirited busybody who

Forget about minding other people's business, and work on improving your

Jesus! I had no idea. I=92ve seen plenty of folks calling him a =93nut=94=

all that, but I thought it was just in reference to his decidedly angry,

First of all, XXXX you hard, up the XXX, cunt.

Secondly, I have an opinion because this useless slug sits around on his
fat XXX, collecting check from his government for hitting the insanity
lottery, and spends all his time (by his own admission) playing XXXXing
video games and yapping it up here and other newsgroups.

Talk about not having a reason for anyone to care what his opinion is! Who
cares what a welfare recipient thinks about anything? He has no opinions of
his own anyway, all he is doing is parroting his local press.

My "character and personality" serve me well, and I don't think I'll allow

What's that to you? Work on changing yourself from the crippled little

Don't confuse my sarcasm with a point of view.
And don't confuse a point of view with mental illness.

I am who I am because of how I choose to interact with the world.

I don't go left. I don't go right. I pick my own path depending on what
a situation calls for.

Threat me like you would threat any other individual you do not know
well and /always/ take my answers with a grain of salt because that is
how I communicate.

You have no basis for saying that, other than simply trying to be
insulting. Care to try again?
Hint: Trying to use old jokes like "Opinions are like assholes" in a
serious attack on someone diminishes you own credibility, and points up
your own lack of imagination.

Crippled? Real man? I am not crippled in any way, and as a "Real Man" I
support myself and my family by working every day, and paying my taxes into
a system that rewards slugs and other gastropods like Boschloo.

I made my judgement of the welfare slug based on his own words. You are
making a judgement of me based on the fact you simply don't like me
attacking the dilettante for laying around collecting money for NOTHING.

Same one you live in, darlin'.

Hardly. I don't walk around proudly proclaiming a mental illness, and
bragging about how it means I don't have to work, or contribute anything at
all, and I'm still fed, clothed, sheltered, and provided with a computer
and internet access as well.

I face up to myself every morning, when I prepare to go out into the world
and earn my own way. Do you? Or are you just now starting your "summer
vacation"? Has Junior High School let out where you live yet?

OK, the ball is now in your court. Try to stick to the facts at hand this
time.

Maybe you shouldn't drink that much.

Yes, of course, the people who are FUNDING such a lifestyle
should have no say in how THEIR money is spent. Thomas is
wasting other peoples money, and they should never have any
input into how their money is spent, of course. Whatever.

Let me get this straight. Frog-Admin hated you with a passion.
Everybody that was around when he was remembers that he used your name
in his filters, blocking you from showing up on his newsserver or remailer
exit. We all remember how he attacked you constantly.

Yet, in spite of that, you long for those days?

Have you become a Christian and decided to forgive him?

Praying for you...

What was it with Snails and Beer again? You like beer, don't you? And
not drinking, is that a promise to your wife you will break again? Get a
grip on your own life before you try and judge mine.

If the poster who is complaining pays taxes to the Netherlands government,
then he should be complaining to them and asking why Boschloo continues to
be certified as diabled.

Why complain here?

I don't know? Mike stopped posting and then the remailer started to be
removed from stats because it was unreliable and then his webpage was
gone also.

Haven't heard a word from or about him since. He was a good remop. One
of the best imho.

I don't think this group needs me to bore them with the likes of you
around. Even when you were at your most interesting you were boring.

And besides, you have made it clear you don't have a problem with me but
with all mentally retards in Holland.
