A Challenge-Response System is the best way to keep spammers and
trolls out of your mailboxes.
See this page for a bried introduction and links:

(Go ahead and read all the anti-Challenge-Response webpages
put up by spammers [who hate them because they can't beat
them]. You'll note that they don't seem to make any sense. That's
because they don't.)
The best way to keep trolls and spammers out of your newsreader
is to only download the headers of new aliases until your
newsfilter and/or eyes have examined those headers and determined
whether they belong to a troll or spammer or not.
That's a default gagfile, necessary on today's vermin-infested
Usenet.
You flunked the test here with your screwed up From header.
and the fact that you posted through an anonymous remailer.
<snicker> No, Junior, Dangerous People Are NOT Out To Get You.
you down. The only people who even read your drivel can't do
anything but fart on the Usenet. You could post your image,
physical address, and real name with every article, and you'd
still be perfectly safe.
No one with any power would ever see it. You don't have anything
they want and you aren't a threat of any kind.
If you _do_ ever bother the Government or a Corporation or
a powerful individual, they or he or she will track you down
in about 5 minutes and squash you like a bug. This is a
no-brainer.
But the truth is, that you don't really believe that Dangerous
People Are Out To Get You. A person that stupid couldn't operate
even a dumbed-down/consumer-friendly operating system like
Windows.
You are hiding your posting history from us. You don't want us
to see all the garbage that you have posted before.
Because if we did, we wouldn't read your articles anymore.
Well, Junior, it didn't work. You are obviously a troll and I
haven't even read this article. You are denied permission to
ever send articles to my newsreader via the Usenet. That goes for
any responses to your articles and all of your sockpuppets, and
any responses to their articles.
That goes for any responses to your articles and all of
your sockpuppets and responses to their articles.
Alan
