| Hi,
I'm currently designing a (windows xp)-program that will use mixmaster and
perhaps PGP. However, I still having some questions:
1) My version of Quicksilver uses mixmaster 29b39. It's not clear to me how
Quicksilver uses this version of mixmaster; for example, the executable
mix.exe does not seem to be able to produce an outputfile containing
mixmaster data, ready to be sent to a mixmaster remailer (unlike version
mix204b45 - this version is able to). Since I prefer a more recent version,
I'd like to know how Quicksilver uses mixmaster version 29b39. Is there a
COM-interface e.g.?
2) Mixmaster already encrypts the message to be sent. Can PGP further
enhance security by adding another layer of encryption? If so, how do you
use it together with Mixmaster. Btw, I don't mean encrypting the message by
the recipient's public key since the messages will be posted to newsgroups
and everybody should be able to read them.
3) The program will choose a remailer based on stats. Which site provides
the most reliable stats? And isn't there a utility that enables me to build
my own stats? (I think that should get me the most reliable stats since all
of the 'ping'-messages are sent from my own computer)
I'd very much appreciate if you could answer one or more of my questions!
