Author Problem with Banana TLS connection

I'm having trouble getting a TLS connection with Banana's SMTP server.
Despite this my Quciksilver stats and FTP connections work fine over TOR;
it's only this mail connection giving me grief.

I'm using QS 1.4b24, stunnel 4.15, TOR and SocksCap.

My QS connection log looks like:

Sending Message 1 of 1
Encountered mixmaster message
Mixmaster encrypting...
Mixmaster reports 3 chains:
banana,dizum,kroken
banana,cside,kroken
banana,austria,kroken

Mixmaster Chain 1 of 3
Proxy: <none>
Connecting...
220 fleegle.bananasplit.info ESMTP Postfix (Debian/GNU)
Connection closed!

Winsock Error: 10053 Connection aborted xxx

Mixmaster Chain 2 of 3
Exception: SMTP component not connected
Aborting...
ERROR: 1 unsent message in PROBLEM Queue!
Session finished

My Stunnel Log looks like:

Is there something I'm missing? I'd be grateful for any ideas.

You are connecting to fleegle on port 2525 I hope?

I'm under the belief that using QS with stunnel and SocksCap is overkill.
I just set up the Tor proxy in QS and direct mail through that to the
remailer's SMTP (on 2525, of course).

Yes.

Well I'm still very much a newbie at this, but for a long time JBN served
my needs (it just worked), then I could see that moving to QS would be
envitable.
I do like the feeling of having a secure anonymous service, even though
my posting needs aren't that frequent.

Could you explain how you setup QS for the TOR proxy to the remailers
smtp port on 2525?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

Can you try using drooper.bananasplit.info instead of fleegle? This
will help me identify if the problem is at your end or mine.

First make sure you have the QSProxy module installed.
Then in the main QS window, go to Tools > Proxy Manager. In Proxy Manager,
go to Proxy > New.
In the dialog which opens,
Name: Tor
Host: 127.0.0.1
Socks Level: 4a
Checkbox Tor: True
Checkboxes HTTP,POP3,SMTP,NNTP,FTP: All True, all port 9050
Checkbox Authentication: False
OK

You're done. Now, in your message template you can choose Tor in the drop-
down Proxy box in the upper right corner. All there is to it. Templates
can be saved so that they use the Tor proxy by default.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes ok, tried this, and still the same result.

THanks
