Trying to rewrite history, are we? Correction, Cotse was not forced to
do anything, instead we were the first privacy service not to claim we
could provide the impossible paid for pure anonymity and to detail
exactly what information was retained and why. That fact caused an
uproar then and seems to still do so with apparent competitors trying to
turn it into meaning we log everything, we were forced to so, etc etc.
Those claims are completely untrue. And before spouting off about the
US being this or that, please note that we also detail where we are, how
it affects users, etc on our site and have for quite some time...years
now. Honesty has a nice benefit, nothing to "expose", some people may
have found it a lot easier going if they'd tried it.
