I believe I can explain how to post to usenet anynymously
in a pretty easy to understnd manner.
Go to quicksilver website at http://quicksilvermail.net/ and get
a quick
understanding of what quicksilver is and does.
Download quicksilver at
ftp://ftp.quicksilvermail.net/pub/quicksilver
Download QS1.2.6b2.exe and install.
Download what it tells you should when you are installing.
This program will send messages from your internet providers
outgoing
mail "smtp" server to the mixmaster remailer network, it strips
identifying data about where it originally came from.
It will also be encrypted so nobody can see what the message is
until it
reaches it's destination.
So to make this work you need to know your internet providers
outgoing smtp
mail servers name, your user name, and your password.
then
Under tools go to smtp authentication,, new,, host is the smtp
server name,
user id is you user name, and of course your password, click ok.
Then
Go to file, new usenet arcticle. You will see something like:
(I put in some examples.)
Fcc: outbox
Host: smtp.example.com
From: username@example.com
Chain: *,*
To: mail2news@anon.lcs.mit.edu, mail2news@dizum.com
X-No-Archive: Yes
Newsgroups: alt.example
Subject: How do I example"
The chain is what remailers you will use. The * means that a
random remailer
will be chosen for you.
Now click on the key in the middle toolbar. These are the
remailers you can
choose from.
Go ahead and put into the chain zerofree, twisty so it looks
exactly like this:
Chain: zerofree,twisty
Now the newsgroups, alt.security to post to alt.privacy.
Now for the subject. In this case start out by posting a message
to alt.security
Mabe a security question like, How do I see message headers in
outlook express?
Now reply to an already existing message by placing an Re: in
front of a header.
Re: what is the best way example?
Or rather Re: what is the best way to send anonymously to
newsgroups ?
Then paste Dr, Feelgood's response for the message body.
Like this,
or[vbcol=seagreen]
[vbcol=seagreen]
>The easiest way is to is an application like Anonymizer that
costs about
>$100.00 per year.
Note the ~~ at the bottom, anything past the ~~ will not show
up.
