Empty confirmation message from hod
|
|
| Christian Danner 2006-07-28, 7:13 am |
| Hi all,
when I'm trying to create a nym account at hod, it's name gets listed
and a confirmation (?) message is returned, which - after carrying out
all conventional decryption steps (3 times CAST5) - is empty :-(
I created another account and added some dummy text after the '**'
line and got only that text when decrypting the reply.
What's going on here? Any ideas?
Regards
Christian

Dunno: just set one up with jbn and it went through faultlessly.

Sorry Christian, you're talking to a real newbie here: the key was DH/DSS, and
the conventional encryption was CAST. Packet format? Cipher AES-256 maybe? How
do I list what you are asking for using PGP 6.5.8.ckt? Or can someone else
determine it from the Public Key?

I tried to download the key of the single account that was new on the
hod list with
finger daniel_jacks AT hod.aarg.net
but the connection timed out :-(
Would you be so nice to send the public key anonymously to 'om AT
danner-net.de' so that I can analyze it myself?
Many thanks
