Seems like a lot less hassle than Stunnel-Tor-Socks-JBN
and almost as anon.

Yes, but be sure your browser wears protection any time it's poking
around in Google. Or anywhere really. Turn off or filter as much crap
as you can using your browser's settings, use Privoxy or some other
content scrubber, or read up regarding the Firefox extensions and use
those.

Side note: The FoxyProxy extension looks very appealing at first
glance, but I believe it would be a bad thing. Setting individual sites
to be anonymized or not completely ignores things like hot linking that
cause your browser to look to another site for some of the page
content. You could be outed by visiting a page that called content from
a site that wasn't in your list.

I use Tor + Privoxy via Firefox, and I turn off Java, and also
set Firefox to delete data, cookies etc after shutdown.

I was about to install the plugin when I noticed
it's unsigned.

I have never installed anything that was signed and never have problems.

The problem there is that I've never seen a *signed* Firefox / Mozilla
plugin...

Would this system apply to setting up an anonymous blog?
I'd like to blog but I need pretty assured anonymity.

This blog is anonymous if you email your postings to it via a remailer.

How exactly do you post a message to apa-s.blogspot?
What 'To:' header do you use?

It doesn't make sense to use it, if it can even be used, when
http://www.eelbash.org/blogs is available. The eelbash blog works the same
way invisiblog did, is simple to use, and your blogs are completely
untraceable.

This assumes you trust eelbash.

I refuse to use ANY Eeltard services on principal, even if they can be
used safely. It would be like patronizing a business owned by a child
molester just because you're over 18.

No way. No how. Never.

The nice thing is that it does not assume that. You don't have to trust
anybody. Just use the remailer system and you can post your blog entries
and nobody will know who posted them.

If you want to read them or even go to the site you should use tor. I know
I would.

You can set up an anonymous blog on your own.

*Set up Tor/Privoxy.
*Set up a throwaway email account.
*Register on Blogger.
*Use your email account to post blogs.

This will be anonymous and mostly untraceable.

Sorry. "Mostly untraceable" is not good enough.

So why are you posting through remailers?

You have no absolute proof that remailer
messages cannot be traced, therefore your
comment is bogus.
