Runaway, I'd suggest that you disable the VRFY command on your Mercury MX.

Most every MX has that command disabled these days, as anti-spam. The
reasons are:

- a spammer can use that to try and verify common usernames, such as
admin@... etc

- even if the spammer can't verify addresses, his machine might leech onto
yours for some period as it tries a long list - and so he uses up your
bandwidth etc

Also, let me join those who have thanked you for providing your remailer
for us to use. And for FULL FROM HEADERS

I have now disabled the SMTP verify. Thanks for advising me, I wasn't aware
that - if enabled - this facilitates spammers life.
