Of course "nomen" nailed it. It's obvious. Hundreds of thousands of PHP
coders pass text between scripts and other applications without the
escpae problem ever being a factor BECAUSE they're not parsing that
text. It's the only way it COULD be a factor, and the fact that it is
in this case not only outs eeltard as being up to his old tricks it
outs him as being too XXXXing STUPID to keep it a secret for a whole
week.

Unfortunately in this specific case most remops are staunch idealists.
99.999% of the time this is a good thing. In this situation though, it
only enables eelbash's mental disorders. I'm afraid that the concept of
free speech has its side bad side effects, and this is one of them.

It is not the only way it could be a factor, it's obvious you have not
done much coding in PHP.

Thanks, that's a good one to know. I just looked it up at
http://ca.php.net/stripslashes, and it looks like an on-the-fly way to
cure the escape characters problem.

What I finally found out as a solution was to change the magic_quotes_gbc
parameter in the php.ini file to 'off'. That fixed the problem, but if it
turns out that the backslash is needed sometimes, and it probably will
turn out that way if I ever do more than rudimentary php coding, the
stripslashes will be useful.

In this case it absolutely is. It's obvious you don't understand the
problem.

here's that same XXXXing XXXXXXX of a moron, insisting once again that his
shitbrained paranoid ideas are superior to the facts.

It is very instructive that the biggest bashers of Eel have both now openly
and repeatedly proven themselves to be XXXXing thick-skulled morons without
the capacity to learn a technical fact, even when it's put right in their
faces for them.

This particular immature moron is one XXXXing stupid piece of lowlife
idiot... and he's been daily spewing anti-Eel drivel for months and months
and months. You XXXXXXX, you make Eel look good by comparison. But you go
ahead and carry on with your shitbrained postings, you XXXXing idiot of a
moron.

Why?

Look, eelbash should never ever run an actual remailer again. A
remailer is part of a network and as he insists on running his
completely differently to everyone else it causes anonymity problems.

But this is not a remailer. It's a web script that people choose to
use to post through remailers. I have no idea why anyone would want to
do that because the entire point of remailers is that nobody has the
plain text until the final hop, but some people like the convenience
of these web based forms and don't care.

Would you really rather he return to running a remailer, or would you
prefer that he spend his time working on things that can't hurt anybody?

Let him do his thing. At least now he's providing something that some
people might actually have a use for.

For his own good. Eelbash has a disease. He's irrationally obsessed
with fondling anonymous mail. And just like a caring family members
keep drunks away from situations where they might be exposed to booze,
we his friends need to help Eelbash manage his addiction. It's a tough
love thing.

Are you that cruel? Don't you want him to get better?

Eelbash Admin shouldn't be allowed near any computer unsupervised. Let
alone provide privacy services.

Also. I think he /is/ running a remailer again. Just waiting for the
right moment to make it public and not be delisted the moment he does.

As someone has said before. Would you let a convicted child molester
take care of your little children when you are away from home?

Or would you kill him on sight whenever you spot him! I opt for this
last solution. There is more at stake here than Eelbash Admin's or my
ego. KOS him every time he posts. If you miss. Fire again and again till
he is truly dead.

He is XXXXing with php scripts he downloaded somewhere right now and has
changed them in ways that introduced new bugs that other running PHP
scripts never seemed to have. How many time will you let him abuse your
own living blood till you get it and begin to realize you don't want
this clown around even as the groups jester?

I am not saying he is dangerous. I am saying that you should KOS him
every time you get a clear shot. And in no way help him out with his
many questions and errors!

Kill kill kill!
