PGP doesn't protect one from forgery. In fact, it is impossible to
prove that I wrote this. Or more correctly, it is impossible to
prove I am who I claim to be. But since res@ausics.net is merely a
pseudonym, it hardly matters. After all, what kind of brain would
use PGP to "protect" a pseudonym?
Not I, that's for sure!

PGP is really a waste of time. Matthews is right. Nobody can prove
whether I actually wrote this post.
My use of pgp is simply an affectation and I do it in order to
satisfy deep anal cravings, as well as to annoy people. But with
time comes maturity, and I have decided to stop.

Yep. It's kind of silly. That's why I am giving PGP up. I have
cancelled/deleted all my keys so even if anyone shows up with an
"authentic" key attached to my name, you'll know that they are
forgers because I no longer have any keys. Since I have cancelled
my keys, anyone can now make a key from my username. But that
doesn't mean that such a person is really me, now does it?
