Happy New Year to the "Guy in the Same Boat". My wife and I
believe that the coming Police State USA is not sustainable just like
the recent past with the people getting home mortgages that they could
not pay for. Something real soon will cause a general collapse in the
whole society. Having seen the inside briefly of the criminal justice
system I can really feel sorry for the poor overworked probation and
parole officers. One actually blew his brains out while I was on
probation at a public park. Just now I can hear the wife watch upstairs
as our "key ally against terror" is descending into anarchy. The billions
spent
and the lives lost down the drain. How much democracy is left in
Pakistan these days? Of course I know that someone convicted of
something like child porn over their would be killed. But if you want
that system you get the killing of the opposition leader and into one
man dictatorship and women getting convicted of getting raped because
she was with someone not her husband. Thus the price of democracy
just my be a rejection of the police state mentality or the Islamite State
which is about the samething.
