to have done is probably criminal, assuming they're not just lying about

What you've just done is accuse someone of committing criminal acts.
That is what's called 'libel,' and is actionable, should butterflygrrrl
choose to act on it.
If you don't have any evidence to back up this accusation, you are so
screwed!
