Not each time. OmniMix is designed to be controlled by message
headers. So once set up, you don't have to change any parameters
within the proxy itself but set all relevant parameters within your
email client. A typical header would include the 'O-' items of this
message:

Of course 'O-Anon-From: No' is a bad idea for real anon messages and a
random exit remailer ('O-Remailer-Chain: 0 0 0 0 0 0') preferable if
you don't intend using a pseudonym.
There are news / mail clients which allow to predefine sets of custom
headers, message routings etc., which Agent for example calls
'Personas'. Assigning a Persona to your message and maybe altering the
parameters (copies, chain length) a bit from message to message is all
you have to do. Direct access to the proxy is only necessary for
certain tasks like the management of nym accounts (but not their use).

Have you read the admittedly poor manual? Though a bit outdated with
newer features still missing, it describes in detail the basic
principles of OmniMix.
Kind regards
Christian
