when sending a mail to the mail.gmx.de I get the message:
"SMTP Error: This server does not accept an empty envelope from ( http://portal.gmx.net/serverrules ) {mp010}"
A Quicksilver mail works fine.

Is there a way to see the complete email text send to the smtp server?

Have you entered your GMX email address into the 'Mail S' 'From'
field?

Activate logging of outbound SMTP connections ('Save Mail Client I/O
to a Log File' @ 'Log' / 'Client').
