Problem with OmniMix?

| Is this a problem with OmniMix, or do I have a setting set incorrectly?
I keep getting the following in the log file, and the message fails to send:
==========
Processing message with Mixmaster ...
Waiting for Mixmaster access permission ...
Calling Mixmaster (parameters: ' -m -c 2 -l banana,tonga om\0.mxt') ...
Mixmaster encryption completed
Try to retrieve files from the pool 'C:\Program Files\OmniMix\mix\pool\'
Got 0 chunks for 2 copies
-------> Mixmaster encryption failed: Mixmaster returned no files
NNTP State: Disconnecting.
NNTP State: Disconnected.
==========
It does this any time I only specify one remailer in the {Anon tab >>
Remailer >> News} field.
{Anon tab >> Use 'Anon Mail S Host'} checkbox is checked.
{Anon Mail S tab >> Entry} selection is set to "Add entry remailer to
chain".
So, it should be going through banana, then through the other remailer
(whichever one I pick), but it fails each time, no matter which remailer I
manually choose.
Is this by design, am I doing something wrong? Should I be specifying a
larger {Anon tab >> Number of Copies} than 2?
The reason I'm only specifying one remailer is to test which remailers strip
the From: header and replace it with their own. Or is there another way of
determining this?

There are two things:
- First of all, Mixmaster refuses to process messages with a fix chain
('banana, tonga') but multiple copies. It then tells you:
07:07:42.020 0 Processing message with Mixmaster ...
07:07:42.020 0 Waiting for Mixmaster access permission ...
07:07:42.030 0 Calling Mixmaster (parameters: ' -m -c 2 -l
banana,tonga om\0.mxt') ...
07:07:42.231 0 Mixmaster encryption failed
07:07:42.371 0 -------> Mixmaster encryption failed: Mixmaster
execution error: Error: Multi-packet message without random remailers!
with the line
Mixmaster Reply (Task 0): Error: Multi-packet message without random
remailers!
at the 'Log' tab. Either send only one copy or add a random remailer
to the chain (with the 'Add entry remailer to chain' option selected
use '0 tonga').
- Secondly, I've heared that in some cases Mixmaster seems to work
well, but there are no files to be found in the 'mix\pool' directory,
which may be due to restricted rights writing data to the 'Program
Files' folder and its subdirectories. As I'd like OmniMix to be a
portable application, storing its data elsewhere wouldn't suit me at
all. So if you get '0 chunks', as you actually do, though the 'Log'
list doesn't indicate any problems and shows the chains selected by
Mixmaster like
Mixmaster Reply (Task 0):
Chain:
banana,cyberiad,tonga
banana,paranoia,tonga
moving the entire OmniMix folder to a 'Documents' folder
('C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>') and starting it from there
may possibly help. If anyone experienced a similar problem and found a
cure for it I'd be pleased about a note.
Kind regards
Christian
