Problem with pubring.mix with QS
|

| Today QS won't work, and gives error about problem with "pubring.mix"
I have tried correcting by re-installing both QS, and Mixmaster, but still get
the same error message.
For stats I am using Bananaspli, which seems to be where the problem is.
Suggestions to fix the problem welcomed.

The problem is being caused by the Panta remailer advertising a
non-standard mixmaster key.

| Question - how to get QS working, please?
Obviously if panta is part of the problem, it needs to be removed from QS, but
how?
Richard Christman, help please.

Does this mean panta has deliberately screwed up all QS users?

Panta is not part of the problem. Panta is the problem.
Open the mixmaster keyring. Select panta's key, right click and
select 'Bar remailer...'.

Don't spaz. There is no problem now.

I'm not so sure. I "barred" panta, then later deleted it
from the barred list, but now there is no panta mixmaster
key, and QS says "No such remailer 'panta'".
How do I get panta back into the list of remailers/keys?
Or has panta given up the ghost?

Get yourself a good panta key by emailing remailer@panta-rhei.eu.org with
the subject "remailer-key". When it arrives (it might take a little
while), open your QS Mixmaster keyring and import it. You do that by
copying the entire text of the returned email and then clicking on the icon
at the top of the Mixmaster Keyring which resembles a piece of paper with
an arrow pointing at it. Choose "Import From Clipboard" from the resulting
dialog, confirm and then *save* your keyring.
You're done.
