Now we need a plan for addressing all of those things.

I think it would be great if perhaps in the text of the article each issue
had a link to a corresponding JIRA (_some_ do already, but more could be
opened) and if the issue is resolved it was clearly noted (e.g. ISSUE 5).

Then we need to decide whether the issue should be fixed for 3.2 or tabled
for later.

I'm going to send a comment to the list on one issue (starting from the
top), but I'll do this in a separate thread, trying to keep an e-mail
thread per issue.
