mod_python calling PHP from within

I have a mod_python Publisher program, and am using it on a PHP-ized web page.
Now, the problem is that I want the mod_pythonized page to appear similar to the
other pages, but since the common header, footer etc. are PHPized, I was
wondering whether there is a way to run php over the file before mod_python
sends the output.
