How to uninstall extension(s)
|
|
|
| I have a strange problem this morning with FF1.0.7.
When I tried to access Tools> Extensions nothing shows up.
(Hourglass for a few seconds, then it disappears)
Same with Tools > Options
I uninstalled and re-installed FF. Same problem.
I ran FF in 'Safe Mode'. All seems to be OK.
The last extension I upgraded was GMail reader
(from v5.1 > 5.2). I would like to uninstall this, to see
if the problem will go away.
However, as I cannot see the 'Extensions' any more,
I am not able to uninstall (any) extensions the normal way.
How to proceed?
Thanks.

By this, I assume you mean that "Tools -> Extensions" seems OK
while running in 'Safe Mode'.

You can uninstall the extension while running in 'Safe Mode'.

OK. Problem fixed. Even if in 'Safe Mode' the extensions are disabled,
they can still be removed.
BTW- Gmail Notifier 0.5.2 is not safe.
I see it has been re-released today as 0.5.2.1
