Disabling background images in Firefox
|
|
|
| Anyone know how to disable background images in Firefox? I know there
is a way to override all kinds of things using CSS but I don't know
about any of that haha. If you have a link to a site that explains
about CSS and using it to override site preferences I would be very
appreciative.

If you don't find a CSS solution, try a bookmarklet. See
http://ilias.ca/netscape/browserfaq/#bookmarklets
I use a bookmarklet to zap background colors that make it hard to read a
web page.

You could install the Web Developer Extension
<http://www.chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/>. This
extension adds a toolbar and context menu (i.e. right-click menu) which
allow you to disable/enable various style features, including background
images.
