FF 1.0.2. bugs with downloading big files

| Hello,
Since i've upgraded FF to the latest version, when I download large
files (hundreds of megs, for instance games demos...), FF frozes after
chosing the destination folder of the file to be downloaded. It stays
frozed during several minutes and after it begins the download and
become usable...
Is that bug known ? It was not the case with other versions of FF (since 1)

Is your download manager history really big? Clear it out. The same
thing used to happen to me than the history was really large.

No, i clean it regularly; my problem happens when the history is empty

Are you sure the problem is on your client (firefox), not the server?
What happens when you try to d/l with IE or another browser?
I've d/l-ed Linux ISOs (650MB+) with firefox and haven't seen the delay
you're seeing.
