I haven't seen that happen with the last couple updates
(1.0.2=>1.0.3=>1.0.4); when was the last time you updated?
A quick 'n' dirty work-around I've used in the past is to unzip the .xpi
file, edit the install.rdf so that the maxversion matches the update
version, rezipping, and installing the hacked xpi. If it doesn't work, you
can always uninstall it and wait for a real update from the author.
