Is there a way to make a filter that applies to all newsgroups that I
read? F'instance "starts with Ron" causes "ignore thread".

or individual newsgroups

How? I'm using Mozilla 1.7.3. Tool>Message Filters...> doesn't seem

Thunderbird allows such

In Mozilla suite
Select the news account then select Tools-->Message Filters
It will then open up the Message Filter dialogue with the account set to

Yes. But I'm looking for a way to make a global filter, one that
