Can someone tell me how to start a new profile on Firefox and how do you
get to the menu to select a profile?

Also I notice a profle folder in application data and also one in the
program file for firefox under defaults which folder is it stored in?

The profiles you are using with Firefox is located in the application
data place you found, Not in the program folder.

Run firefox.exe with -profileManager
