Firefox losing history - fixed in latest update?

| Although I couldn't find it specifically addressed, does anyone know
if the 1.5.0.2 update has eliminated the disappearing/corrupting
history file problem that apparently has afflicted only a few of us.
Or are there plans to do so. Would sure like to stop having to back
up my history every day to have a reasonably complete backup for when
Firefox decides it needs to start over. Happens 2-4 times a month I
would say, but actually it comes and goes as a problem.

| I've had the problem only AFTER updating to1.5.0.2. Where do you find the
history file to back it up?

It's in the profile folder:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxx.name
where name is the logon name you use.
Every day or so I back it up to a "firefoxbackup" folder, which
also occasionally I backup the entire profile to. Then when the
original gets zeroed out, I just copy the backup back to whence it
came from. I don't really use the history list directly, so much as
the autocomplete function, which goes with it.
This problem has occurred to me since 1.0.4 or earlier!
