Author importing urls

I have a listing of URLs from the days of using IE. There, I would
put them into a folder, then using a 2-panel file manager drag that
folder into the Favorites folder. Done; now visible in the IE
favorites listing.

How do I get these into Mozilla's bookmark.htm file to be equally
accessible? It seems that the listing there is within an HTML file,
and so reuires a "link", not a "shortcut". I can copy/paste each into
the URL window, go to the site, then save into the Bookmarks, but how
do I do this in bulk? I have a fair number to move over, and singly
not an option.

Thanks.

In FireFox you can choose:
Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> File -> Import -> I Explorer...

In SeaMonkey the last option doesn't seem to exist. I don't know
if its there in Mozilla. As a workaround you could install FireFox,
import the bookmarks, save them, and import the saved file into
Mozilla. (And maybe uninstall FireFox afterwards if you want..)

Thanks! I will likely have to import first into IE. I was hoping to
do it more directly, without using IE, but that's life.

Maybe this could be helpful for you (if you're using FireFox):
