| How do you get Firefox 1.509 to recognize the fact that
Windows Media Player is installed and to bring it up
when a video source is selected?
It's been installed and reinstalled so that isn't the answer.

Thanks for the info. No difference after following each of the
recommendations found on that page, including installing the
whole package of recommended Windows plugins.

For me some sites open an IE Tab when a Windows Media Player link is
clicked.
