Is there a recommended addon or whatever which allows you to find a
file whichyou suspect is concealed within Firefox cache folder??

You can type "about :cache" in the addressbar of Firefox ans choose
"disk cache device -> List cache entries". Then just use Edit -> find in this
page or Ctrl+F.

And when you find what you are looking for, for example...

| Key: http://foonly.tld/folder/video.mpeg
| Data size: 145893 bytes
| Fetch count: 1
| Last modified: 2007-04-09 21:54:06
| Expires: 2007-05-23 05:16:36

....then click on the link next to "Key" which will bring up
another page with more information about that one file

| key: http://foonly.tld/folder/video.mpeg
| fetch count: 1
| last fetched: 2007-04-09 22:03:18
| last modified: 2007-04-09 21:54:06
| expires: 2007-05-23 05:16:36
| Data size: 145893
| file on disk: C:\Documents and settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\Cache\XXXXXXXXd01
| Security: This document does not have any security info associated with it.

On this other page, you can right-click on the link and choose
"Save Link As..." from the context menu. This will save a copy
of the file, with a real name (not a dummy cache name).

If Firefox is in off-line mode ("File -> Work Offline" is checked)
then the file will be read from your cache (not re-fetched from the
web) and saved to a file.

You can save from cache even when it says "file on disk: none".
Small files sometimes say "file on disk: none" because they do not
have a separate individual file of their own in the cache.

And having thus found the entry, how can I then copy it from cache to
another folder?
Many thanks for that swift response, btw. Much appreciated.
